i made this companion zine for the installation of the same name, presented as part of “To Hold is to Be Held,” on view at the Mandeville Art Gallery in La Jolla, CA from January 15 - February 13, 2026. the zines were available as takeaways for viewers.

through analog, slow, and intimate, processes that interweave movement, disorientation, and fleshly being, erika works with, and makes work about, bodies: strange bodies, exquisite bodies, disintegrating bodies, ghostly bodies, illegible bodies.

their current research and practice methods emphasize celluloid filmmaking and experimental printmaking.
