TIME SCULPTURE I (RENDERING) (2024)
IN PROGRESS
3 MINUTES 37 SECONDS
MOVEMENT ON 16 MM FILM
FILMING BY PAOLO ZUÑIGA
time sculptures are
time-sensitive
non-objects
sensitive in the sense
that they
feel,
that they are feelings-into
temporality
time sculptures are
an effort, attempt at
making (sense of) time
they take form as
video renderings,
layerings of the body
in hyper speed, hyper lapse
and slowed
body on top of body
body within body
a sculpting of time for a passing moment
a sculpture of time in motion
via the moving body
projected on a screen,
on a surface
time sculptures are a
sculpting of time,
a durational performance,
like taking a clay base
and molding it over time
with the body - as it dries, breaks off -
